Georgia state government documents are classified in a special system that is similar to the U.S. Superintendent of Documents (Sudoc) Classification System. For a complete listing, please see the Official Publications of the State of Georgia List of Classes and Agency Index.

Georgia Government Publications Database

A project of GALILEO, the Digital Library of Georgia, and the University of Georgia Libraries

In addition to the print collection, the UGA Libraries provide online public access to publications of Georgia state agencies through the Georgia Government Publications Database.  Developed in 1996 as GALILEO's first digital conversion initiative, the GGP contains over 80,000 born-digital publications and scanned print documents released by Georgia state agencies. The GGP provides a comprehensive digital repository of state publications from 1994 to the present, including selected pre-1994 monographs and serials; digitization projects continue for this collection in an effort to provide researchers with a valuable source for online historical research.
