The AL VR Classroom is open for students, faculty, and staff to explore and experiment in consultation with trained EITS staff. If you would like to learn more about the space, test out the equipment, or brainstorm how to use the classroom in Spring 2026 when it will be available for reservation for one-off class sessions and workshops, please fill out our brief consultation request form and someone will be in touch to schedule a time!
Hours
If you are an instructor and would like to request use of the AL/VR Classroom for one of your class sessions, please submit your request through our reservation calendar. Reservations can be made for up to 4 hours at a time and require a 2 week advance reservation so that we can be sure the room will meet your class needs.
Instructor Presence and Instructional Responsibility
- When bringing a class or organized group to the VR Lab, the course instructor must be present and responsible for leading the instructional component of the session.
- The VR Lab team provides hardware setup, software access, and technical support.
- Instructional framing, facilitation, and connection to course objectives remain the responsibility of the instructor.
- Sessions will not be scheduled if the instructor is unable to attend. If you have a conflict, please contact us to arrange an alternate date.
