A Tornado Watch means no sightings of a tornado have occurred in Clarke County; however, weather conditions are favorable for a tornado to develop. Sirens will not sound for a tornado watch condition.
- Security personnel or designated MLC personnel will announce the tornado watch alert via the public address system.
- Security personnel and/or designated MLC personnel should remain alert for changing weather conditions and further updates.
- Signage will also be placed in the first and second floor entrances to notify patrons and staff that the area is under a tornado watch.
- After a Tornado Watch has been lifted or expired, Security personnel or designated MLC personnel should announce via the public address system when the tornado watch has been suspended.
