Data Wrangling in Python

A practical introduction to the essentials of data wrangling in Python. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to turn raw, messy data into a clean, structured format that’s ready for analysis. We’ll cover the core skills you need to get started: load and inspect files in Python, work with data frames, merge data from different sources, handle missing data, extract and structure the data you need, and store it in the right format for future use. No prior coding experience required.

Working with Data in Excel

A hands-on introduction to data processing and analysis in Microsoft Excel. Topics covered will include basic mathematical calculations, counting cells, manipulating text, if-then statements, conditional formatting, and PivotTables. By the end of the workshop, students will have experience using both Excel’s point-and-click features and its formulas and functions to explore, transform, and summarize their data.
