The Special Collections Libraries support a number of programs and initiatives that encourage use of collections and improve accessibility. These programs focus on providing hands-on experiences with archival sources for UGA students, faculty, and the general public. Additionally, the Special Collections Libraries offers several programs for K-12 audiences including field trips and family days.

The Libraries recruit UGA undergraduate and graduate students to participate in the Student Docent Program and a variety of Experiential Learning and Internship opportunities.
