Virtual Exhibit Tour: The Strategies of Suffrage

On August 26, 1920 the 19th Amendment was certified by the U.S. Secretary of State and women achieved the right to vote throughout the United States. Join the Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Library in celebrating the 100th anniversary of this event with a virtual tour of the exhibit "The Strategies of Suffrage: Mobilizing a Nation for Women's Rights" on Wednesday, August 26th at 2:00 p.m. The event will be streamed live on our Facebook page. This event is free and open to the public. For more information email kdotson@uga.edu.

Virtual Family Day: Local Art (Rosenbaum)

Join us for this special collaboration with the Georgia Museum of Art (GMOA) as we celebrate local artist Art Rosenbaum and his art on campus. We’ll explore Georgia’s political history as captured by Rosenbaum ​in his mural “Doors” created for the ​Richard B. Russell Library for Political Research and Studies.
