Recent events have impacted many aspects of our daily life and brought a sense of urgency to social activism. Knowing our history—who did what, when, how and the difference it has made—will inform the swift actions necessary for advocates today. What is urgent for you in this moment? Are there intersections with past advocacy or current social movements? This Symposium will highlight Georgia’s disability history through lessons learned and advocacy opportunities for the future.
This event is free and open to the public but requires pre-registration. For a full list of featured speakers, event schedule, and registration please visit https://tinyurl.com/ycqan28u. For more information contact Brandon Piecsko at email@example.com or (706) 542-0594.
