Join us in creating some buttons supporting the freedom to read for Banned Books Week! We'll have some designs for some of your favorite books that have been frequently challenged.

The Library 101 for Graduate Students is designed as an introduction or refresher to UGA Libraries services and resources. In this workshop learn how to: 

• find books in the library
• request items from other libraries
• locate online journal articles
• search our online databases
• use our research guides and tutorials
• engage with our spaces and technology, and
• get help and support when you need it.

Curious about using Python for your research but not sure where to start? This beginner-friendly workshop is designed to make your first steps in Python smooth and accessible. We will teach you how to assign and work with variables, use simple functions and libraries, and handle data with Pandas. No coding experience required. This is not a technical session on installing Python or how the language works on computers – just the essentials to start using Python with confidence.

Join us on September 25 from 6-8:00PM in the MLC (rm 369) for an evening of scrapbooking and yapping! Paper and scrapbooking supplies will be provided, but please feel free to bring photos, journals, and personal touches. This will be a low-stress environment, so come meet new folks and enjoy a night of scrapbooking, music, and snacks! 

Join us for an interactive workshop hosted by the UGA libraries where we will introduce you to a new AI literacy eLC course that we have created for instructors. The course includes modules on evaluating AI output, prompt literacy, AI ethics, and AI and research.
