The UGA Libraries are holding open houses especially for you on Monday, August 7 between 2:00-4:00 pm.
Meet your librarians, learn about key online resources and borrowing privileges, and tour the buildings. Librarians will be available to answer questions and demonstrate research tools including the new GIL-Find catalog, GALILEO system of databases, and citation management tools EndNote and RefWorks.
Main Library database introductions and tours will begin at 2:15, 2:30, and 3:15.
Science Library database demonstrations will begin at 2:15 and 3:15, and tours (including the MakerSpace) will begin at 2:30 and 3:30.
We'll have door prizes from South Kitchen + Bar, Your Pie, Jittery Joe's, Menchie's, and more. All this plus light refreshments and strong air-conditioning.

The Main Library focuses on the social sciences, humanities, arts, and business; it’s on North Campus at the south end of the quad
The Science Library focuses on the sciences, technology, and agriculture; it’s on South Campus inside the Boyd Graduate Studies Research Building
