Resignation

Resignation from a position in the Libraries requires notification to the supervisor as soon as possible.  Monthly paid positions should give at least one month's notice and salaried biweekly paid positions should give at least two weeks notice. Notification should be in the form of a letter to your supervisor specifying the last actual working day and a copy of the letter should be sent to Libraries' Human Resources.

The Libraries' Human Resources Department will schedule an exit interview with you to complete the exit process, including a review of the items on the University of Georgia's Faculty & Staff Separation Checklist.
