Food & Drink Policy (staff)

Food, Drink & Tobacco Policy for the University of Georgia Libraries' Staff

UGA Libraries' staff are governed by the same policy as library patrons with the following additions:

  • Food and drink are permitted in staff areas. However, when passing in public view, staff are requested to conceal food items as well as any drinks that are not in bottles or containers that can be reclosed.
  • Although drinks in bottles or containers that can be reclosed are allowed in designated areas of the libraries, the staff should refrain from having drinks at public service points.
