The Libraries' Staff Representative Group(SRG) web page informs library classified staff of current representatives, guiding principles, structure, purpose, projects of SRG, and links to staff related web sites. SRG is composed of ten members from the various organizational divisions of the UGA Libraries. Libraries' SRG is part of a larger system of University-wide bodies which are responsible for representing the interests of classified staff at UGA.
 

But what is it, exactly, that Libraries SRG does? It is charged with the responsibility of serving as an information and communications conduit to Libraries classified staff. If employees have work related questions or issues which do not bear on the substance of their jobs, SRG is a place to seek answers or a voice. Such issues might include: workplace safety, leave issues, parking, environmental/ergonomic issues, conflict/dispute issues, pay and benefits, or resource/information location.
