Instruction
The Special Collections Libraries welcomes classes from all academic areas for an introduction to collections and resources as well as an orientation to doing archival research. Class instruction sessions share strategies for locating and using primary materials for research. Archivists customize these sessions according to the needs and interests of the class level and topic and complement instruction provided by the instructor.
To arrange an archival instruction session please contact representatives from each of the three special collections:
Hargrett Rare Book and Manuscript Library: Chuck Barber (chuck13@uga.edu)
Richard B. Russell Library for Political Research and Studies: Jill Severn (jsevern@uga.edu)
Walter J. Brown Media Archives and Peabody Awards Collection: Mary Miller (mlmiller@uga.edu)
