Reference Services
Russell archivists on staff at the Russell Library are all knowledgeable about the content of collections open for research in the Library and they specialize in offering assistance that is tailored to the needs and interests of all patrons from the novice to the professional.
-
Onsite Reference Services
The Russell Library provides full reference services on site from Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Patrons can receive general reference assistance throughout the Library's hours of operation. They may also arrange in-depth research conferences with a specific archivist by appointment.

Offsite Reference Services
The Russell Library provides limited general reference services online at its Web site and through email at russlib@uga.edu. For those patrons unable to travel to the Russell Library to conduct research in person, the Russell Library is happy to provide contact information for proxy researchers available for hire. These researchers are not associated with or vetted by the Russell Library.
