Power to the People! Rural Electrification in Georgia is the culmination of three years of research and documentation throughout the state of Georgia. The exhibit draws upon strong documentation of rural electrification in Georgia present in Russell Library collections. It also draws from extensive collaboration with organizations and individuals around the state of Georgia who loaned or donated materials, shared memories and perspectives, and provided financial and administrative support for the project. Russell Library exhibits reflect the mission and collection strengths of Russell Library. The Library maintains an active exhibits program as a complement to its research and learning program.
