U.S. Imports History on CD-ROM (DVD-ROM starting Fall 2002), 1989- . (CD-ROM or DVD-ROM J84 C3.278/2: [various years] Latest disc in Main Reference, 1st floor.
For each commodity, data is provided on total value and quantity of imports for the world as well as for individual countries and ports of entry. A monthly series of discs is also available under this call number. The monthly discs contain a few data variables not present in the annual discs.
For the period 1989 to 2001 detailed commodity trade data is also available on the now-discontinued CD-ROM products, National Trade Data Bank (CD-ROM J84 C1.88:) from 1990 to 1995, and its successor, USA Trade (CD-ROM J84 C1.88/3:) from 1995 to mid-2001. Each monthly disc gives import and export data for detailed commodity and country. Coverage includes current month, previous month, current year-to-date, previous year-to-date, plus 4 years of annual data. Data variables include quantity and value but NOT port of exit and entry.
