Finding too many articles or articles that are not relevant enough?

Here are some possible solutions:

  • Replace a general term with a more specific term or additional terms: Rather than "depression" use "maternal depression". Remember that unless you want to find an exact phrase use an All Words search. You can also search for multiple keywords as a Standard Search using the word "And" such as: maternal and depression.
    Review the basic search options

  • Use the Advanced Search:The advanced search is powerful but easy to use. It allows you to combine keywords, authors, dates, and lots of useful limits as shown in the next section.
