Getting the journal online from the Electronic Journal Locator

If PsycINFO doesn't have a full text link use the Electronic Journal Locator to find the journal online.

1. Identify the journal that contains the article wanted. The image below shows where the journal title is located in a citation from PsycINFO.

2. Open up the Electronic Journal Locator (EJL). The EJL is also available off the Libraries' homepage: http://www.libs.uga.edu

3. Search for the journal title in the Electronic Journal Locator and it will provide you links to the online journal if the Libraries have a subscription. If the keyword search finds too much try searching by phrase or exact search.

4. The link provided may be a database where you can search by the article title or the link may go directly to a journal web site where you will link to the volume, issue, and page numbers of the article needed. This information is contained in the PsycINFO citation as shown below.

Note: If the Electronic Journal Locator does not have the journal online then use the Libraries' catalog GIL to find the paper copy of the journal as shown in the next section.
