Even some ordinary persons have been included if they left autobiographies, diaries, or other artifacts that attracted posthumous attention.
Many of the biographies include an illustration or photograph of the person, a bibliography or links to other resources. New biographies are added quarterly, and updates are also made quarterly to incorporate new facts and new interpretations as needed. Produced by Oxford University Press under the auspices of the American Council of Learned Societies.

In addition to the Subject Index volumes, there are Finding List volumes for each set of Congresses. When you know the report or document nos., e.g., H.Rep. 2731 (51-1), the finding list will tell you it is in volume 2814. The call no. then would be J84 2814. To find Serial Set volume nos. when you have the report or document no. for 1969-1976, consult the Numerical Lists and Schedule of Volumes, J84 GP 3.7/2 v.88-94, shelved on Index Table 5F in Main Ref. For twentieth century reports and documents, it is fairly easy to find them by scanning the volumes of the Serial Set for the Congress involved.
