- The Unified Newspaper Database (previously Old Georgia Newspapers) is a searchable guide to over 3,700 newspaper titles on microform at the University of Georgia Main Library. The search results display the newspaper title, the place of publication, the years for which the library owns issues, and the call number at which the microform can be found. The data reflects general holdings for the years given, and does not imply that all dates within a year exist. If you have used the OnceNews.com or Old Georgia Newspapers sites in the past, you will find that the Unified Newspaper Database contains all of the information about Georgia newspapers as well as additional publications of other locations and genres.
