- CSA Worldwide Political Science Abstracts is building on the merged backfiles of Political Science Abstracts, published by IFI / Plenum, 1975-2000, and ABC POL SCI, published by ABC-CLIO, 1984-2000. The database provides citations, abstracts, and indexing of the international serials literature in political science and its complementary fields, including international relations, law, and public administration / policy. The serials list of the new database is actively under construction, with a focus on expanding international coverage. Electronic full text may be available for records with ISSNs added to the database since January 2001.

Baldy Editorial Cartoons: The Clifford H. Baldowski Collection

Political cartoons on local, national, and international news focusing on Georgia events and persons.
- The collection at the Richard B. Russell Library contains 6,740 pen and ink drawings and 2,460 velox. The digital database opens with approximately 2,500 cartoons from the collection. Clifford H. Baldowski, known by the pen-name Baldy, depicted the local, national, and international news of his day in the editorial pages of the Augusta Chronicle, Miami Herald, and Atlanta Constitution. His work is a rich source for those studying political reorganization in Georgia and the growth of Atlanta as well as the Civil Rights Movement, the Cold War, the Vietnam conflict, Middle East tensions, and Watergate.
- An Augusta native, Baldowski began his career by submitting cartoons for The Augusta Chronicle editorial page on a part-time basis in 1946. Only after being signed as a permanent employee at the Chronicle did he begin to sign his work Baldy. He then worked for the Miami Herald before joining the staff of the Atlanta Constitution in 1950. Baldy continued to cartoon for the Constitution until his retirement in 1982. His cartoons also appeared in Time, Newsweek, and U.S. News and World Report; in newspapers across the United States and Canada; and in English-language newspapers in Rome and Paris. Baldy was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize in 1964 for his cartoon, Goldwaterloo.

- The Digital National Security Archive contains over 58,000 declassified documents central to U.S. foreign and military policy since 1945. The documents were collected by the National Security Archive, a non-profit research institute, through the extensive use of the U.S. Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). DNSA is comprised of a series of collections, each focused on a single topic. Each collection contains a diverse range of policy documents including presidential directives, memos, diplomatic dispatches, meeting notes, independent reports, briefing papers, White House communications, email, confidential letters and other secret material.

- The U.S. Congressional Serial Set consists of the all the Reports, Documents and Journals of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives from the 15th Congress (1817) through the 96th (1980), including some post-1816 content published in the American State Papers (a retrospective collection of materials originating from 1789 through 1838 but published in the second quarter of the 19th century). During much of the 19th century, especially in the pre-Civil War era, the Serial Set also included key Executive Department publications that were published only or primarily in the U.S. Congressional Serial Set. The Serial Set constitutes a rich collection of primary source material on all aspects of American history, including approximately 52,000 maps.

- Web of Science provides access to the Science Citation Index, Social Sciences Citation Index, and Arts and Humanities Citation Index covering over 8,000 journal. These three databases can be searched separately, in any combination, or all at once. These databases are unique in that the user can search to find which articles have cited a certain author or article. This technique of doing research, called pearl growing, allows researchers to find articles that are related to an earlier work.
