Reports, documents and journals of the U.S. Congress from the 15th Congress (1817) through the 103rd Congress (1994). 
- The U.S. Congressional Serial Set consists of the all the Reports, Documents and Journals of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives from the 15th Congress (1817) through the 103rd Congress (1994), including some post-1816 content published in the American State Papers (a retrospective collection of materials originating from 1789 through 1838 but published in the second quarter of the 19th century). During much of the 19th century, especially in the pre-Civil War era, the Serial Set also included key Executive Department publications that were published only or primarily in the U.S. Congressional Serial Set. The Serial Set constitutes a rich collection of primary source material on all aspects of American history, including approximately 52,000 maps.

Policies, procedures, and publications of all types from the 1999-2000 SACS Self Study. 
- The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools is a private, non-profit, voluntary organization founded in 1895 in Atlanta, Georgia, for the purpose of setting standards and improving education in the colleges and schools of the South. Five other private regional accrediting associations have been established to do similar work in other regions of the United States.
The approximately 1,100 SACS documents in this database are from the 1999-2000 SACS Self Study undertaken by the University of Georgia. They are being made available through GALILEO as a demonstration of the use of electronic documentation for accreditation purposes.
The database now includes some documents that were originally received by GALILEO in electronic format. These PDF documents are fully searchable by using the Adobe Acrobat find feature (the binoculars icon).

- Ulrich's Periodicals Directory (UlrichsWeb) is a directory of over 160,000 U.S. and foreign periodicals and other serials. It includes academic/scholarly journals, consumer magazines, and trade journals.
Information about each title is extensive and usually includes: the ISSN, status (active, ceased, forthcoming), price, publisher (name, address, telephone, website), frequency, if it is online, editor name, if it is refereed, subject category, a brief description, where it is indexed/abstracted, and, in many cases, a review. The Advanced Search option allows focused searches, for example, refereed (scholarly) journals published in the U.S. on psychology.

The Unified Newspaper Database (previously Old Georgia Newspapers) is a searchable guide to over 3,700 newspaper titles on microform at the University of Georgia Main Library. The search results display the newspaper title, the place of publication, the years for which the library owns issues, and the call number at which the microform can be found.
The data reflects general holdings for the years given, and does not imply that all dates within a year exist.
If you have used the OnceNews.com or Old Georgia Newspapers sites in the past, you will find that the Unified Newspaper Database contains all of the information about Georgia newspapers as well as additional publications of other locations and genres.

- University of Georgia Electronic Theses and Dissertations is a collection of the theses and dissertations submitted electronically to the Graduate School at the University of Georgia since the summer of 1999. All dissertations are included, although some may not be viewable from off campus. The record for an individual document is always viewable, and will indicate the availability of the document. The author of a dissertation or thesis, in conjunction with his or her major professor, makes the determination if the work will be publicly available.
The ETD database can be searched by keywords, author, title, department, major, major professor, committee members, etc. For additional information, click the Instructions button on any search screen. Since an individual's name may appear in the database in various ways (especially for faculty members on the advisory committees), use the Browse Search to find all variations.
NOTE: The complete text of the dissertations and theses is not searchable in this database. However, for those that are publicly available, use the Adobe Find feature (binoculars icon) to search the text of an individual thesis or dissertation.
