University Almanac

1965-1986

"University Almanac" was a 15-minute radio program produced by the University’s Office of Public Affairs which aired weekly and went out to more than 50 radio stations around Georgia.

"University Almanac" covers current events at the time of production and includes interviews with notable figures, such as Erskine Caldwell, Mrs. Coretta King, Dean Rusk, Dean of the School of Journalism, Warren K. Agee discussing the George Forster Peabody Awards, Anne Seawell, Ted Turner and many more.
