United States federal agencies now make most of their
information and data available via the Web. Many of their paper products
are being discontinued and published instead on the Web. Cartographic
materials available from foreign and U.S. state and local agencies are
still limited but growing rapidly. The major sources for cartographic
and digital spatial data information and some specific sites of important
mapping data are listed.
