There are many issues to be
taken into consideration in granting of a request to work after retirement. In addition to approval at the Libraries’ level, this request must also be approved by UGA and the Board of Regents. Each spring,
requests to continue employees in this status must also be approved. For more information on the process and requirements, please go to:
http://www.libs.uga.edu/staff/employeval.html
and scroll down to working beyond retirement.
