Kermit the Frog has joined Access Services from Sesame Street, where he worked for over the last 30 years as an educator for young children. He is also the published author of One Frog Can Make A Difference, Kermit's Guide to Life. Though he knows it ain't easy being green, he is excited to be in Access Services and looks forward to making lots of "on-the-'fly'" book records. He thinks they are particularly delicious!
Kermit is actually working as a fundraiser for Athens Canine Rescue. Local potter, graphic artist and UGA employee Cheri Wranosky is loaning Kermit out for road trips and has created a website for Kermit's Excellent Adventure at http://www.arches.uga.edu/~cheriwra/ . He visited Laura Parrott, who serves on the Athens Canine Rescue board of directors and works in Access Services, at the library so she could help him make his connection with her roommate who took him to Chicago!
