Who's Leaving the Libraries

Helen Wilkes, Librarian III in Serials, is retiring effective March 31, 2006. Congratulations, Helen, on your retirement.

Who's Changing in the Libraries

Debbie McAnallen will become head of Cataloging. Effective April 1, 2006.

Dana Walker will become the Head of Serials. Effective April 1, 2006.

We are happy to announce that upon her return to work part-time post-retirement, Lucille Davis has joined the Libraries' Administrative Office as the Human Resources Associate.  Lucille will be Coordinator of the Student Assistant Employment Program and will be managing all of the hiring, paperwork, and personnel data for student assistants and will be working closely with Betty Mayweather on payroll issues.  Lucille reports to Teresa Taylor.

Supervisors should begin routing all student paperwork and addressing all questions to Lucille ( lkdavis@uga.edu , 542-0660) effective immediately.  Lucille's work schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30 am - 3:30 pm.  Her desk is located in the administrative office suite.

Student Employee Information Forms: due to Lucille Davis by noon on Monday, February 27, 2006.

Hourly (student) timesheets: due to Betty Mayweather by 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2006.
