Hungarian Film Series

Information on a Hungarian Film Series, sponsored by the UGA Libraries Media Department,  can be found at: http://www.titletk.com/hungarianfilm. Admission is free.

Main Library: The Digital Library of Georgia and the New Georgia Encyclopedia (and Georgia's history and culture!) are the focus of an informative exhibit in the cases in the Main lobby.

Russell Library: "Power to the People," a look at the Rural Electrification Act and its effects on Georgia and its people.

Science Library:

The University Libraries and the Georgia Museum of Natural History have teamed together to highlight items from their respective collections. The libraries have many works from early naturalists, such as John Audubon, Mark Catesby, and John Abbot. These selections are on display at the Science Library along with corresponding specimens from the Georgia Museum of Natural History. The display will be up through the month of October.

The Libraries' calendar is located at www.libs.uga.edu/events, providing a central place for information on events and meetings. Please contribute by sending your news to libnews@uga.edu. The "libnews" address also replaces libjobs@uga.edu as the places to send news for Update.
