Main Library: The Digital Library of Georgia and the New Georgia Encyclopedia (and Georgia's history and culture!) are the focus of an informative exhibit in the cases in the Main lobby.

Russell Library: "Power to the People," a look at the Rural Electrification Act and its effects, coming in late September!

Science Library: What are white dwarfs? Do spiders really use silk draglines to fly through the air? Why are bats more like primates than like rodents? How likely is human genetic engineering? The answers to these and other questions are to be found in "The Science of Superheroes," a new exhibit at the UGA Science Library.

This exhibit follows the links between scientific developments (and the social anxiety they have sometimes spawned) and some of our most popular superheroes. From the preposterous to the probable, the silly to the downright scary, the science of superheroes is unveiled in this entertaining exhibit, created by Mary Miller and the ASSET Awards committee.
