The Georgia Historical Records Advisory Board presented its Documenting
Georgia History Award for Georgia HomePLACE (Providing Library and Archives
Collections Electronically), a collaborative effort of the Georgia Public
Library Service (USG Board of Regents) and our own DLG/GALILEO. Accepting

Cox; Merryll Penson of the board of regents; Ed Johnson, GA HomePLACE

Caroline Cason joined SLC colleagues Joe Mason (EITS) and Christina Serrano (OISD) in a presentation on the SLC at "Rock Eagle 2004: University System Annual Computing Conference"
(http://www.usg.edu/oiit/re/re04/) . "The Student Learning Center at UGA: One Year Later" looked at the unique teaching and learning facility. Based on data collection and observation from the first year, each representative from each area of the partnership presented information regarding successes, obstacles, and future goals in the Student Learning Center.
Susan Morris of ILL was a co-presenter with Margaret Ellingson from Emory in a program at GLA/COMO entitled "The Odyssey of ILLiad" about our new ILL software. Susan also is the current secretary of GLA.
