Macintosh users and some GALILEO databases: Mac users may not be able to access Wilsonweb databases (Education Abstracts, Humanities Index, Art Index, Biography Reference Bank, and Wilson Biographies) via Internet Explorer browser. Please use Netscape 4.75 or 7 -- thanks!
GIL, the UGA online catalog
If the GIL homepage displays Bainbridge College, not UGA, when you've reached URL gil.uga.edu. You need to upgrade your web browser. GIL servers require an HTTP/1.1 capable browser. This standard is not available on early web browsers, such as Netscape 1.1x.
(This problem may no longer exist. It's here for historic purposes, and if I don't keep it around I'll forget the solution to the problem if it does arise).
