Journals

If you know which journal you need:

  • Full text online

Search in the Electronic Journal Locator, available via the 'E-Journals' link on the home page.
  • Print

Search in GIL, the library catalog. Go to 'Exact Search' and select 'Journal Title'. After you get the call number and floor location from GIL, use the volume and page numbers to find the specific article.
  • Interlibrary Loan

If the UGA library does not have the article in print or online, you can get a copy from another library through our Interlibrary Loan service. There is a charge of 30 cents per page, and you get a copy to keep.

If you need to identify articles published on a topic:

Use GALILEO@UGA to search for articles published on your topic. [Get the GALILEO password.]

  • Not sure which GALILEO@UGA database to use? Select from the 'Choose Subject' menu and get a list of databases for your subject.

Then use the button in the database to get the article.
