UGA Libraries' Events Calendar
The UGA Libraries' “Events” Calendar is a convenient tool to use to check for conflicts with a meeting (including standing meetings, such as department meetings) or an event (such as a presentation or training session) you are planning. It’s also a handy way to publicize that activity to the rest of the Libraries’ community.
How to post an event or meeting:
Go to the Libraries' Events Calendar and click on “Update” found at the upper right-hand portion of the page. At the login screen, enter “update” for both the user name and the password. You will be taken to the “Post an Event” screen, which also displays the current and next calendar months.
To check for conflicts prior to posting your event or meeting, refer to the calendar months on the left side of the screen. Dates highlighted in blue have events or meetings scheduled, which can be reviewed by clicking on the date.
To post an event or meeting, fill out the available fields, replacing “Update” with your name, and click on “Submit Event.” While the template indicates event time, location and description are “optional,” it is recommended that this information be included. Website addresses may be included for additional background. To edit your posting, click the day of the event on the calendar and then click the “Edit” button at the top of your posting.
