The GIL Application Analyst is focused on programming and analyst activities to support the statewide GALILEO Interconnected Libraries (GIL) system. This system is based on the Voyager ILS application software and the Oracle database management system.

GIL is the integrated library management system for the University System of Georgia. GIL uses Ex Libris’ Voyager software, which is built on Oracle (a Voyager version of Oracle). GIL applications support staff are located at UGA (supporting 34 USG institutions) and Georgia Tech (supporting only Georgia Tech).
