WEDNESDAY, MAY 22, 1861
Fire last night
orders to move to
Alexandria tomorrow.

THURSDAY, 23
Start at 4 P.M. Ride all
night and reach Manas-
sas Junction. Other troops
camped there. More
B_ad & __ll H.

FRIDAY, 24
Hear Alex is taken by Federal
forces. Troops from the city
constantly passing. Man
named Jackson boots a Fed.
soldier for tearing down __
Conf. flag. Is himself shot.

SATURDAY, MAY 25, 1861
Our Co. on picket last night
about ¾ mile from camp. 2d
S.C. arrives. Collision in R.R.
Four men killed
Start to-night to Bull Run
on picket.

SUNDAY, 26

Our Right on picket guard
_ miles from camp - having

Hear enemy is camped
near us. Start to-night
toward Alexa. Camp
same place as last night
on Bull Run

MONDAY, 27
March to Cuter. Camp in woods.
