Gifts Policy
The Georgiana Collection encourages and welcomes gift materials which fall within the collection criteria described on the collection policies page.
Gifts are typically evaluated on the basis of whether they add to the established collecting strengths of the Georgiana Collection, and are accepted only when offered unconditionally to the library.
Items donated to the collection should be physically in good shape, i.e., no stains, mildew, missing pages, or writing in the item. Periodicals are typically not needed unless they serve as replacements for missing issues in the collection.
The library does not evaluate gifts for tax purposes in accordance with IRS regulations.
