Scope and Content :

UGA 06-001 "Hubert Owens' Photographs and Printed Materials" helps document Owens influence on landscape architecture during the 20th century and complements other Owens and School of Environmental Design materials found in University Archives. This collection includes drafts of Owens' Personal History of Landscape Architecture in the Last Sixty Years 1922-1982, photographs and slides depicting both his personal and professional activities along with numerous brochures, travel guides and newspaper articles.

For preservation purposes the "Hubert Owens' Photographs and Printed Materials" collection was refoldered. Metal paperclips have been removed, photographs were placed in archival sleeves and newspaper articles have been photocopied onto archival quality paper.
