Library Instruction Wing ($250,000)
The Library Instruction Wing, centrally located on the Student Learning Center's third floor west wing, provides library patrons with numerous PC workstations. To create an optimum study and research environment, the PCs are located in fixed group carrels, equipped with privacy panels. The Library Instruction Wing is the gateway to the Bibliographic Classroom, the Information Literacy Classrooms, and Group Study Rooms.

A gift of $250,000, payable over five years, is requested for the naming of the Library Instruction Wing. signage featuring the donor's name will be displayed above the wing's entrance, and a plaque within the wing will signify the donor's support of the University of Georgia Libraries.

East Wing Study...$250,000
Spanning one wing of the Student Learning's fourth floor, the East Wing Study provides a large area of library study and research space, and access to 17 Group Study Rooms. The East Study contains carrels outfitted with computers and privacy panels, study tables wired to handle laptops, and comfortable seating areas for reading and study.

A gift of $250,000, payable over five years, is requested for the naming of the East Wing Study. signage featuring the donor's name will be displayed above the wing's entrance, and a plaque within the wing will signify the donor's support of the University of Georgia Libraries.

West Wing Study ($250,000)
Spanning one wing of the Student Learning's fourth floor, the West Wing Study provides a large area of library study and research space, and access to 22 Group Study Rooms. The West Study contains carrels outfitted with computers and privacy panels, study tables wired to handle laptops, and comfortable seating areas for reading and study.

A gift of $250,000, payable over five years, is requested for the naming of the East Wing Study. signage featuring the donor's name will be displayed above the wing's entrance, and a plaque within the wing will signify the donor's support of the University of Georgia Libraries.

Bibliographic Instruction Classroom ($150,000)
The Bibliographic Instruction Classroom, located on the Student Learning Center's third floor west wing, is dedicated to subject-specific instruction. Classes taught in this room are offered to 40 library users familiar with the basics of an electronic environment and need more advanced, subject specific research skills. Also, the classroom is used for interactive classes where professors integrate electronic resources- printed visuals, audio and video- into their lectures. PC workstations allow each participant hands-on instruction.

A gift of $150,000, payable over five years, is requested to secure the naming of the Bibliographic Instruction Classroom. The donor's gift will be acknowledged by signage prominently displayed at the entrance to the room.

Information Literacy Classroom A, B, or C ($100,000)
Three Information Literacy Classrooms are housed on the third floor of the Student Learning Center. These classrooms are the starting points where students, faculty, staff, and other library patrons learn the skills needed to locate, evaluate, and utilize the vast amounts of information available. These classrooms create a "learning by doing" teaching environment. Classes are limited to 24, with each person getting personalized, hands-on training at a PC workstation.

A gift of $100,000, payable over five years, is requested to secure the naming of an Information Literacy Classroom. The donor's gift will be acknowledged by signage prominently displayed at the entrance to the room.

Group Study Rooms ($25,000)
Group Study Rooms are located on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors of the Student Learning Center. These 96 rooms give students a private area for collaborative work such as preparation of group projects, study groups, and breakout areas for faculty to meet with several students. The seating capacity varies from six to ten patrons. Each Group Study Room is furnished with a conference table, matching chairs and a fixed display board. Additionally, these special rooms are wired to support laptops via network connections, and are acoustically designed for noise reduction.

A gift of $25,000, payable over five years, is requested to secure the naming of a Group Study Room. Recognition of the donor's gift will be displayed at the rooms entrance.
