Wise Blood, Flannery O’Connor’s astonishing and haunting first novel, is a classic of twentieth-century literature. Focused on the story of Hazel Motes, a twenty-two-year-old caught in an unending struggle against his innate, desperate fate, this tale of redemption, retribution, false prophets, blindness, blindings, and wisdoms gives us one of the most riveting characters in twentieth-century American fiction.

  1. One Response to “3/25 Book Club – Wise Blood”

  2. Thank you for the information on “Wise Blood”. I am always looking for a good book to share with my book club. We just finished a wonderful book called, “A Place To Belong”, by Paul Miller. If you love “To Kill A Mockingbird”, you will love this book. It’s about a little boy who grows up in really tough times under really tough circumstances. And how he becomes an adult of forgiveness and understanding. It’s a great book club book, it offers great in-depth conversation.

Thank you again for the “Wise Blood” recommendation.
