18th Century Collections now in GALILEO

We now have access to a major new database, Eighteenth Century Collections Online, thanks to a purchase by the Law School that makes the database available to the entire university community. ECCO is a searchable, full-text database of 138,000 digitized texts published between 1701 and 1800, based on the English Short Title Catalogue and drawn from the holdings of the British Library as well as those from more than 1,500 university, private, and public libraries worldwide. ECCO does for the 18th century what Early English Books Online provides for earlier centuries: makes available virtually every significant title (English and foreign language) printed in the United Kingdom, along with thousands of important works from the Americas.
