When are my library books due?

Do you check your UGA e-mail account regularly?

If you’re interested in knowing when a UGA library book is about to come due, checking your UGA e-mail will give you the answer.

The Library sends out Courtesy Notices via e-mail four days before your book is due, so by regularly checking in on your e-mail account you will always have a head’s up on when a book is coming due.

Of course, there are other ways of checking the due date of the books you have, like logging into the My Account feature of the Libraries’ GIL OPAC, or even referring to that slip of paper pasted in the back of the book if you want to go low-tech.  And when you get that Courtesy Notice in your e-mail inbox, you can renew the books on-line by clicking the Renew button in My Account.

We send these and similar notices regarding the status of your library account to your UGA-supplied e-mail address; however, if you wish to have them sent to an account of your choosing, please send an e-mail maincirc@uga.edu to or science@uga.edu and we will change your  e-mail address.
