The Televised Opera and Musical Comedy Database “documents more than a half-century of opera, operetta, and musical comedy telecasts produced in the United States. The database traces performance programming from early live presentations on experimental TV stations, to contemporary productions released on broadcast elevision, various cable forms, and home video.”
Some of these telecasts may be held in our very own Walter J. Brown Media Archives and Peabody Awards Collection. Researchers may also look to the Moving Image Collections (MIC) site for information about global moving image holdings.
