The Main Library has three new microformat scanners available for public use in the basement. These scanners create pdfs from microfilm, microfiche, and microcards; the pdfs can be saved to a USB drive or emailed. Printing is also available with Bulldog Bucks or a VTS card.

The My Account is working in GIL Classic but not GIL-Find. (GIL-Find will let you log in and shows you the password screen, but it won't let you see or renew your books online).

Due to a planned software upgrade to the University System of Georgia's library servers, the ability to place GIL Express requests will be temporarily suspended next week. The service will be unavailable from midnight on May 13, 2012 until 7:00 a.m. on May 19, 2012.

The entry floors of the Main Library and the Science Library will undergo renovations beginning in mid-May. By fall, both libraries will feature redesigned study spaces, new computers and furniture, and better-designed service desks.
