Georgia Museum of Art
The state's official museum of art offers programming for patrons of all ages, as well as free admission to the public for all exhibitions. The museum houses more than 9,000 objects in its permanent collection featuring 19th and 20th-century American paintings, Italian Renaissance paintings, and growing collections of southern decorative arts and Asian art. GMOA also hosts traveling exhibitions from around the world.

Lyndon House Arts Center
Lyndon House serves as an arts center with a mission to support local artists in their creative development and to provide enrichment through the arts for our community. Features gallery exhibitions, festivals, art classes, workshops, summer camps, a gift shop and the Ware-Lyndon House museum, with period decor and information about Athens history.

Athens Institute for Contemporary Art
ATHICA is an independent, non-profit gallery promoting and supporting innovative contemporary art and artists through exhibitions, education, and events.

The Gallery@Hotel Indigo-Athens
A gallery space inside a downtown boutique hotel that hosts exhibitions for visitors and locals to experience quality regional art of all mediums. The hotel also features the Glass Cube, a freestanding exhibition space for experimental works showcased outside the main entrance of the hotel.

Lamar Dodd School of Art Galleries
The Lamar Dodd School of Art Galleries are dedicated to understanding and promoting contemporary art as a tool and a catalyst for education. Presents exhibitions and programming including receptions and lectures by artists and art historians in the Visual Arts Building on the UGA campus.

Circle Gallery
A gallery at UGA's College of Environment + Design dedicated to interpretations of environmental design. From landscape architecture, to historic preservation, to planning and design, the exhibits feature works by a wide variety of local and nationally recognized artists and designers.

ARTini's Art Studio, Gallery & Lounge
An art gallery and lounge with group instruction sessions, ARTini’s offers participants instructor-led painting while enjoying a favorite beverage.

Clayfully Created
A paint-your-own-pottery studio where you can pick out a favorite piece of pottery to paint in your own style and have it glazed and fired.

Good Dirt Clay Studio
A community clay studio where people of all ages and abilities can explore their creative side. Offers parties, workshops, one-time "Try Clay" classes, and 8-week clay classes with unlimited open studio time.

Kristen Ashley Artist Shop
An all-around art space featuring a gallery, art supply shop, design and photo services, and classes teaching skills such as calligraphy & lettering, watercolor, card making, and more.

Lyndon House Arts Center Classes
Offers a diverse selection of art classes for youth and adults.

Summer Art Camps
ACC Leisure Services offers a variety of art mini camps for children and teens each summer.

Treehouse Kid & Craft
For kids and crafters of all ages, Treehouse offers a variety of art and craft classes and workshops and summer camps teaching drawing, printmaking, weaving, knitting, photography, jewelry making and more.

Art Rocks Athens
Art Rocks Athens celebrates the interaction and interplay of pop art and rock that made Athens, Georgia famous with annual exhibitions of art, film, and photography along with musical performances.

AthFest :: The Athens, GA Music and Arts Festival
Annual music and arts summer festival in downtown Athens with over 150 local and regional bands playing outdoor stages and downtown clubs. Features an artists market, film screenings, a KidsFest, and more.

Bulldog Inn Annual Art Show
A one night event that serves as a venue for experimentation and alternative art void of the restrictions and expectations from the typical gallery setting, featuring a variety of works ranging from installations to performances and beyond.

Classic City Chalk Fest
Watch as local professional artists create works in chalk and draw your own chalk masterpiece in Athens' chalk-drawing festival.

Indie South Fair
A curated open-air market that brings together artists, designers, and creative entrepreneurs to showcase their work in a festive atmosphere that includes music, artisanal food and drink, and kids craft activities. Held biannually in May and December.

Lickskillet Artists Market
An annual festival featuring local art vendors, artist demonstrations, live music performances, food vendors, and children's activities.

Slingshot Festival
Spread over 4 city blocks and dozens of venues, Slingshot spotlights international, national, and local music acts on stage, boundary pushing artworks, and a tech conference with leading innovators.

Spotlight on the Arts at UGA
Each year, the Spotlight on the Arts festival shines a light on the breadth and the quality of arts programming at the University of Georgia, with dozens of events offering something for everyone.

Art Rocks Athens Foundation
The mission of the Art Rocks Athens Foundation is to recognize the artists who gave birth to and helped shape the Athens music scene; to present, preserve, and promote their art; and to foster the continuing interplay of the visual and musical arts in Athens.

Athens Area Arts Council
A non-profit arts organization whose goal is to connect the arts to the community through promotion, education, and funding. Seeks to integrate the artistic resources of Athens into the fabric of the educational system, local economy, and culture of our community.

Athens Art Association
The Athens Art Association, founded in 1919, is a non-profit professional organization established for the advancement of visual arts in Athens.

Athens Cultural Affairs Commission
Established to foster the development and enjoyment of performing, visual, cultural and other arts in the Athens-Clarke County community and to provide leadership in planning of public art projects.

Athens Metal Arts Guild
The goal of the Athens Metal Arts Guild is to provide education, promote public awareness, and develop interest in the metal arts through activities related to metalsmithing and jewelry making.
