ABOUT THE AWARDS
Originating in 1992, the ASSET Awards Program (Acknowledging Staff Skills, Effort and Time) provides us with a mechanism to formally recognize each other for contributions that have kept both the core functions and the innovative endeavors of the University Libraries on target over the past year. This program allows us a moment to pause and pat each other on the back for a job well done. To conceptualize and organize the week's activities, as well as to facilitate the planning and recommendation of awards recipients (through an anonymous voting process), a committee is selected from a call for volunteers each fall. Each committee member serves for two years. This year the ASSET Awards Committee is comprised of the following UGA Libraries employees: |
Sandra Riggs, co-chair |
Ex Officio: Sharon Bradley, Craig Breaden, Margaret Hale, Gil Head, Jan Hudson and Diane Trap
