Mandy Mastrovita
Upon her arrival in the DLG as our newest Metadata Librarian, Mandy hit the ground running. During her short tenure, not only has she quickly and thoroughly absorbed the DLG's metadata creation methods, but she has also developed a deep knowledge of the secondary literature of the Civil Rights Movement. She works diligently to place each newsfilm clip into context and identify the individuals, events, and groups depicted in each piece. An able writer, Mandy effortlessly conveys the content and importance of each clip in an informative and accessible way. We're very glad to have her back.
