The ASSET Awards Committee is pleased to announce the 2011 ASSET Awards: ASSET NATION, a celebration of one of our most common denominators – Food! As described by the Southern Foodways Alliance, publishers of the Cornbread Nation series of food essays, food not only provides nourishment, but also “forges relationships between peoples and places.” This year the ASSET Awards will be held May 20-25, 2011.
