Awarded to an outstanding Classified Staff member for continued exemplary service to the mission of the Libraries. The recipient will have exhibited exceptional job performance, attitude, and interpersonal working relationships within the libraries and/or the University community. Nominations are accepted from all employees, however, recipients are ultimately selected by Bill Potter, University Librarian.

Eric and Dr. Potter have cheerfully lead the Ilah Dunlap Little Memorial through it's rebuilding pains caused by the fire of last year. There have been a seemingly endless stream of task that have been coordinated in order to make repairs as smoothly as possible. From floor tiles to ceiling tiles, from new shelving and people to erect the shelves, etc, Eric has given steady leadership. No other person has had more effect on the libraries this year then D. Eric Matthews.
