University of Georgia Celebrates Archives Week

On September 19, 2001 Governor Barnes proclaimed the week of October 8-14, 2001 as Archives Week in a ceremony at the State Capitol Building. The week celebrates not only the value of Georgia's historical records and the many ways such records enrich our lives, but also those who maintan these records for our communities.

During the week, the university's archives and special collections will help you discover how you can better "Investigate Your History."
